Away from the responsibilities of daily life, you finally have time to nourish, restore and rest, allowing your nervous system relax, letting go of held tensions and patters, bringing your body and mind into balance, feeling calm and focused.

With daily yoga, relaxation, meditation, exploration and reflection practices, as well as all the other optional activities (like walking, swimming, massages and treatments), you have the freedom to experience a deeper sense of calm, strength, focus and ease in body and mind in a way that really serves you, returning home to your true self.

All YOGA with Juliana retreats offer you a menu of delicious and nutritious plant-based food to support your journey in self-care from the inside and out.

Being immersed in your retreat, surrounded by nature, you can unplug from the daily grind - you don’t have to clean or cook or work or wrestle with life admin (what a joy!). So you can truly relax and re-connect to self, developing a greater sense of clarity, self-knowledge and healing.

You can return home at the end of your trip a human-be-ing rather than a human-do-ing, with positive and mindful habits, the benefits of which can be felt way beyond your retreat.

Your nourishing retreat in this historic country house and grounds caters for all your restorative needs and includes in the cost:

  • 2 nights stay in beautiful accommodation with room and budget options to suit you

  • Private dining room and our own fabulous chef (the gorgeous Tea & A Toast ) serving us delicious and nutritious plant-based meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner - as well as organic free-trade teas, coffees and nibbles throughout

  • Daily yoga in a fully equipped and beautiful yoga studio or outside meditation garden (weather permitting), as well as reflective meditation, journalling and somatic exploration practices

  • Free time to enjoy relaxing at the retreat or take extra treatments

  • Indoor heated pool and hot tub

  • Sitting rooms offering gorgeous spaces to relax and lounge in

  • Stunning surroundings with private lands and extensive gardens to explore and walk in

  • Hard tennis court and Croquet lawn for some play time (great for those who do not wish to practice yoga)

Who is welcome?

  • Yoginis/Yogis - This retreat is open to all levels of yoga experience from total beginner to more experienced practitioner. If you have never practiced yoga before or have any specific health concerns please get in touch to discuss how the retreat can best serve you.

  • Non-Yoginis/Yogis - Your partner, friend and/or any young adult over 18 are also very welcome to join you on your retreat and they don’t need to be yoginis or yogis :) They’re welcome to just enjoy the restorative weekend break without having to take part in any of the yoga classes if they don’t wish to - perhaps just enjoying their time by the pool, in the hot tub, taking walks or reading, enjoying their break in whatever way they wish to spend their weekend.

Your sample itinerary

FRIDAY

  • From 4pm Arrival and Check-in ~ Join us when you’re ready and enjoy some free time to settle into your room | lounge with a tea and meet the group | swim in the indoor pool | soak in the outdoor heated hot-tub

  • 6pm Yoga ~ Melt away your week and step into your revitalising weekend with this nourishing, unwinding evening yoga class

  • 8pm Dinner ~ Delicious, nutritious, beautiful plant-based meal created to nourish you from the inside

  • Free time for you ~ Lounge and relax before bed

SATURDAY

  • From 8am ~ Morning tea to set up for your morning yoga class with a delicious selection of teas and coffees, light snacks or fruit

  • 9am Yoga ~ An invigorating movement practice, breathwork, stillness, relaxation, exploration and reflection

  • 11am Breakfast + Free time ~ Delicious, nutritious, beautiful plant-based meal created to nourish you from the inside and then free time for you ~ Perfect opportunity to explore the grounds | go for a swim | soak in the hot-tub | play a game of tennis or croquet | lounge with good book

  • 2.30pm Lunch + Free time ~ Delicious, nutritious, beautiful plant-based meal created to nourish you from the inside and then more free time for you

  • 4pm Back Health Workshop ~ exploring practices and breath to support our back health

  • 6.30pm Yoga ~ Gently restorative movement and body-exploration practices and guided meditation in the outside mediation garden (weather permitting)

  • 8pm Dinner ~ Delicious, nutritious, beautiful plant-based meal created to nourish you from the inside

  • Free time for you ~ Lounge and relax before bed

SUNDAY

  • From 8am ~ Morning tea to set up for your morning yoga class with a delicious selection of teas and coffees, light snacks or fruit

  • 9am Yoga ~ Invigorating movement practice, breathwork, stillness, relaxation, exploration and final reflections

  • 12pm Closing Lunch Feast ~ Delicious, nutritious, beautiful plant-based meal created to nourish you from the inside

  • 2pm Check-out and home time ~ Safe journey home feeling totally recharged and revitalised

The itinerary offers you a taste of the weekend offering and a final version will be provided closer to the time. All activities are optional so you can enjoy any or all parts of your retreat. Check-in and out times are fixed and will not change.

Cost and room options

Patrick Brompton Hall offers a beautiful range of rooms for you with options from £450pp with more affordable rooms and then more luxury options such as their lux cottage with private hot-tub and own kitchen.

Your retreat booking is full-board and includes your accommodation, food, daily yoga practices, access to pool, hot-tub, tennis and croquet lawns and the surrounding gardens, among other things as detailed above.

Retreat booking options are as follows

  • SPACES: Marramatte Room is a lovely bright room offering a kingsize and a single bed making it perfect for two people sharing but can fit a group of three friends to take advantage of lower rates. This room has access to a shared bathroom.

    • Sole Occupancy: £540

    • 2 Share: £460pp

    • (possible 3 Share if friends: £410pp)

  • SPACES: Elland Room is set in gorgeous blue tones and offers a super king bed making ideal for sole occupancy or couples. This room has access to a shared bathroom.

    • Sole Occupancy: £530

    • 2 Share: £450pp

  • SPACES: Lissett Room, a luxury tasteful room with gorgeous views offering 2 singles making it perfect for sharing but can also be offered for sole occupancy if desired. This room has access to a shared bathroom.

    • Sole Occupancy: £640

    • 2 Share: £525pp

  • SPACES: Wycliffe Room is also a bright luxury room offering 2 singles making it perfect for sharing but can also be offered sole occupancy if desired. This room has access to a shared bathroom.

  • FULLY BOOKED: Park View Room is a premium luxury room boasting it’s own en suite bathroom. It offers two single beds making it ideal for sharing.

    • Sole Occupancy: £730

  • FULLY BOOKED: Tack Room Premium Cottage a luxurious yet cosy space ideal for couples offering a gorgeous king sized bed, it’s own kitchen and en suite.

  • SPACES: Head Lad Premium Cottage offers it’s own splendid kitchen, en suite and with 2 singles it’s perfect for sharing

    • Sole Occupancy: £850

Spaces are limited to only 12 students and will be offered on a first come basis

When booking, please let us know whether you have any room preferences and if you’d like to enjoy sole occupancy or share with someone. If you're sharing and there's someone you'd like to share with just let me know when booking so that I can pair you up. Otherwise I can allocate your room based on the best possible match which you'll share with a like-mined yogi.

Retreat cost does not include:

  • Travel to Patrick Brompton Hall (easy transport from London with trains directly from Kings Cross, see below)

  • Extras on your retreat such as private lessons or treatments (such as a massage) that you may wish to have at the Hall’s treatment space or with Juliana

Getting here

  • By Train

    • Nearest station to Patrick Brompton is Northallerton Station which can be reached directly from King Cross (2hrs20mins). You can then catch a taxi from the station to Patrick Brompton.

  • By Road

    • From the A1(M) take Junction 51 and go West on the A684 for 5 Miles until you get to Patrick Brompton

    • From the M6 take Junction 37 and go East for 30 Miles until you get to Patrick Brompton.

Class rules and terms

Class rules + terms apply to all YOGA with Juliana classes, workshops, courses and retreats as detailed in the new student registration form which must be completed before participating and website Terms + Privacy.
